Building on the success of the first Crossrail (now known as the Elizabeth Line), Crossrail 2 aims to create a new north-south railway route, linking Surrey in the southwest to Hertfordshire in the northeast via central London. Crossrail 2 is expected to support significant economic growth, housing development, and job creation. It will ease overcrowding on existing lines, reduce travel times, and offer more direct connections between various parts of the city and its suburbs.

The renovation of Sussex roof at Victoria Station in London is part of a broader £30 million upgrade aimed at enhancing the station's infrastructure and passenger experience. The station's iconic roof, which dates back to the station's original construction, is also being refurbished to ensure it remains a historical yet functional part of the modernized station.

At Terminus Place, the main focus has been on streamlining traffic and pedestrian flow. This area, a critical interchange point for buses and taxis along with commuters.

For the Circle and District lines, significant work is expected to upgrade infrastructure and improve accessibility. Additionally, platform extensions and refurbishments aim to reduce crowding and improve train service reliability.
